For gallery-worthy gravy.
Who knew a gravy boat could look this artful? This gem comes straight from Brooklyn-based ceramicist Catalina Parra, who handmade it using a process called slip-casting. It’s stoneware, too, so you can bet it’s sturdy enough to make its rounds around the table. It’ll dole out gravy with a flourish, to be sure, but we’re using it for all sorts of other sauces, too.

Base Ceramics
Brooklyn, NY
Base Ceramics is a one-woman show run by artist Catalina Parra—and what an artist she is. Every piece that comes from her Brooklyn-based studio would look right at home in a gallery. It’s all handmade through a process called slip-casting (and we can’t stop staring at the results).
