A Dutch classic.
Oh, enameled carbon steel...we love how it’s sturdy yet lightweight, a snap to clean, and shines bright in oh-so many colors. This particular oven has been a favorite of Dutch families since 1926, and—fun fact—it comes from a maker that was awarded with a Royal Predicate by Queen Juliana of the Netherlands in 1951 (hence the crown on the logo). The pure carbon steel heats quickly, while the handles stay cool so you can brown, sauté, or boil your meal, then bring it right to the table. Since that glaze is nonporous, nonreactive, and scratch-resistant, you can plan on keeping it around for a while.
