Sweet seagrass.
Seagrass is a fiber woven from tropical reeds that grow in paddies—it’s naturally sturdy and stands up to bumping, dropping and all kinds of spills (basically, all the functions you’d want in a placemat and then some). The weave here has a rope-like braid, making it a great backdrop for both nature-themed and nautical-themed tablescapes. Either way, it’s a lovely natural backdrop for your freshest, healthiest meals.
