Staub
France
It's hard to look at the French company's picturesque cast iron and ceramic wares and not daydream about the *magnifique* things you'll make in them. Staub specializes in enameled cast iron cookware made in Alsace, which makes for superior browning and heat retention (perfect for those hours-long braises). The pieces work hard, but they’re pretty enough to go straight from stovetop/oven to the table. They take on a variety of shapes and colors, but we're partial to the cocottes with a deep blue hue and brass knobs exclusive to our Shop.

Small
I had in my mind that these would be larger, more cobbler, tart deep dish mini pie, but they are very small. While I am sure I can find something to do with them as they are cute but that's where it stands for me, cute but not overly usable in my kitchen. May be perfect for others depending on needs as they are well made and I am sure Staub quality.
Good quality and even cooking
Really love these. I tested out a variety of baked egg recipes and shakshoukas in the first three days. They cook nicely and evenly. They work in the oven, Bain Marie, and toaster / convection oven. You can't go wrong with these. I think they'd be perfect for small cobblers and baked fruits also.
