Launder your linens à la française.
If you know something about Marseille soap, then you probably know that it’s produced using all-natural ingredients in an age-old traditional process. In fact, the name “Marseille Soap” is a protected designation—to qualify for this highly coveted label, your soap has to be made in Provence with natural oils and just a handful of other ingredients: seawater, ash and lye. At Fer à Cheval, it’s a labor-intensive process that takes 10 days and starts with boiling the ingredients in ancient cauldrons overseen by a soap master and team of artisans. This classic Marseille soap recipe comes to rest here, in this concentrated laundry liquid. It’s effective at low temperatures on the most stubborn stains, respects colors, and lends a light, fresh scent to your laundry. Plus, it’s allergen-free and certified organic—which pretty much makes laundry day something to look forward to.
