Contain your excitement.
These canisters go beyond mere airtightness: As you push down the lids they actually remove air from around your food and seal it up, giving you the best preservation possible. Oh, and they’re lightweight and easily stackable. Crowded cabinet, do your worst.

Form and Function for Baking
Keep flours, grains, and nuts fresh longer! Love that you can see what's in these canisters while keeping the air out. Have used the round stainless steel Airscape products as well but it's so helpful to see how much you have in the container before going shopping for more. Be sure not to overfill so you have room for the plunge.
Fantastic!
These are perfect for keeping my tea fresh! I just slapped handmade labels on the fronts, and now there's no more digging through boxes of teas looking for the right one.
Worthless
The plunder element that you push down to keep it "air tight" easily slips to one side or the other, making it not air tight and when you press it down on flour or powdered sugar (things one might keep in a canister) they poof out the sides and make a complete mess. And if you think "well, I'd just not use the plunger thing" think again, because the tops are not even close to air tight. They actually just on top but will fly off if you just pick up the canister. Immediately into the trash.
