Gettin’ piggy with it.
We can’t help but crack a smile every time we pull out this whimsical, pig-shaped cutting board. Each board is crafted from start to finish by one of Amana’s artisans, who sign each piece upon completion. Choose from solid walnut or maple (available only at Food52!) with a hand-applied food safe mineral oil and beeswax finish.

Meet the Maker
Amana Woolen Mill
Amana, IA
Founded in 1855, Amana began as a small German community seeking religious freedom in the Iowa River Valley. They aimed to live simply and sustainably—to share with one another and produce everything they needed themselves. Although the communal lifestyle disbanded in the 1930s, the craftsmanship and tight-knit community is still apparent in the high quality products Amana produces today, 160 years later.

Very cute and useful.
This is a great size for vegetables and small cutting jobs. It is great for a display. This does not have to sit under a cabinet.
