Problem Solved.
I had my large spoons and other utensils in a pitcher. It used up too much counter space. So food52 to the rescue. I was able to seperate my wooden utensils and knives and make my counter look more streamlined to boot. Great item.
Everything falls over
Love the design and got this to fit a narrow space next to my stove and match the dishrack I purchased from the same brand. Alas, it’s not well designed and utensils consistently slide down, fall over and fall out. The ledge at the bottom that’s intended to prevent this isn’t tall enough and the slipmat at the base - a good idea! - also doesn’t have enough traction to keep items from falling over. Bad on me for not reading the return policy which doesn’t allow returns in most cases.
Well designed and aesthetically pleasing
It's great to have a rectangle stand that fits on the side of my cook top perfectly. The internal wooden bar is a good feature as it allows the tools to stand upright instead of tipping over into a crisscrossed mess that makes it hard to extricate the one you need.
