Mitts for your mitts.
Protect your mitts while getting dinner on the table with this cheerful pair of striped linen oven mitts. The combination of slubby beige linen and stripes of araucana blue (named for the Araucana hen, one of very few chicken breeds that lay blue-colored eggs) is both classic and cozy. Sold in a set of 2.

Hot mitts
I was looking for eco-potholders and liked the look of these. They're so plump that they are hard to grab with. They also show every bit of soot from my hardworking oven, so I wash them, and they plump up even more! I'll use them to the bitter end, because I paid so much, especially with shipping, but I expect to drop something hot any day now...
