Rare Bird Preserves
River Forest, IL
Every jar of Rare Bird Preserves is handmade in small batches, and thoughtfully crafted in the French tradition, with only the freshest seasonal fruit and their own naturally extracted pectin. They take care to obtain only the highest quality ingredients, and their fruit sometimes come to the kitchen still warm from the sun, having been picked only hours earlier. They craft their preserves in copper pots, and while their approach is traditional, their flavors are not. Blending seasonal fruits with herbs, chocolates and other distinctive ingredients produces deliciously unique spreads, and you will taste the difference.

Delicious Twist
Raspberry adds a special sweet touch to lime curd, which to me is always irresistible. The two flavors balance perfectly. I love it on toast!
