Coffee in the morning is a must for us. And to make the ritual even nicer, we sip ours from these painted porcelain mugs, handcrafted exclusively for Food52 by Edith Bourgault, a Canadian artist.

Meet the Maker
Art et Manufacture
Edith Bourgault discovered ceramics out of the blue, but was so impacted by the craft that she immediately became a ceramic artist. Her collection, Art et Manufacture, gives ordinary objects a decorative edge, without ever losing sight of their original modern, utilitarian look. We think her pieces strike the perfect balance of art and industry.

So pretty and elegant
Took a little longer to receive since they shipped from Canada but
I love the look of these mugs. Wish they were available in larger sizes but overall I'm very happy with them. Great for an elegant brunch or just a beautiful morning to yourself.
Beautiful but not practical
The ceramic mugs are gorgeous, but..... they are much smaller than I expected (website does not give size in ounces) - they hold maximum 8 oz. and that's all the way to the top; second, with hot coffee inside they quickly become too hot to hold. Sadly, these expensive mugs will become reusable straw or chopstick holders.
Gorgeous, functional, unique
I absolutely love these, I use them everyday. The designs are as seen in the photo and I didn't feel like what arrived was any different than what was advertised. The cups are sturdy and the paint hasn't chipped or anything (although I do handwash them just to be safe). Going to order more from this shop. Highly recommend.
