Petersburg-born Asya Palatova is the potter behind Gleena ceramics, “gleena” meaning “clay” in Russian. Her ceramics are meant to be used every day—the high-fire porcelain she uses is both lightweight yet durable, and doesn’t chip easily. The small glazed plates’ rippling effect is so pretty that we won't blame you if you use them for every single course, from salad to main to dessert.
